Hailing from the City of Sin, Las Vegas, Nevada, Dreams As Nightmares is a six-piece modern metalcore band blending crushing riffs, soaring melodies, and emotionally honest lyricism into music that reminds listeners they are never alone. Drawing inspiration from artists such as ERRA, Polaris, and Wage War, the band creates an intense yet deeply relatable sound rooted in resilience, healing, hope, and overcoming. Every song is written to create a place where people can feel seen, understood, and reminded that no matter how dark life becomes, you can always find home in music.

Dreams As Nightmares was conceived in 2023 as the project of guitarist Alejandro Gomez, after having parted ways with his past projects Image Intent and Damaged Savage. Following the creation of the project, he joined forces with Rich Thomas from Auralight and A Suffocating Lie, and independent singer/songwriter Connor Hetzel, adding a powerful vocal duo, combining raw screaming with prominent cleans, and opening the doors to a wider audience. Subsequently, the addition of guitarist Thomas Velasquez of Tree Frog Express and The Noir Movement, bassist Jonny Vega and Nick Fisher from Color In The Dark and GlassSky made the band a creative powerhouse, combining different musical backgrounds, leading to the refinement of the band's catalog.
